Hohhot Launches 88 Day Winter Ice and Snow Tourism Season

Hohhot in Inner Mongolia officially kicked off its 2025–2026 Winter Ice and Snow Tourism Season on December 7 at the Mazongshan Ski Resort. This exciting launch marks the beginning of 88 days packed with themed winter activities designed to promote and enrich the region's winter tourism experience.

The opening event showcased an impressive variety of on-site activities, ranging from entertaining games and captivating performances to enlightening displays of intangible cultural heritage, delicious local food, and vibrant music. Across the city, more than 300 themed events are set to engage both residents and visitors, offering a unique winter experience that artfully integrates modern vibrancy with traditional heritage.
