On August 15, the "Xinjiang is a Good Place" Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Aid Xinjiang themed exhibition event for 2025 was inaugurated in the Hotan area of Xinjiang. This significant event is co-hosted by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism and the People's Government of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region. Key attendees included Rao Quan, Vice Minister of Culture and Tourism, and various regional leaders, signaling a strong commitment to cultural promotion.

Themed "Culture Enriches Xinjiang, ICH Adds Color," the event featured an impressive collection of 435 representative ICH projects and 383 ICH inheritors from Xinjiang and beyond, including 25 other provinces and regions in China. Through diverse initiatives like the "ICH Exhibition," "ICH Dance Rhythm," and "ICH Marketplace," the event highlighted achievements in protecting and inheriting cultural heritage while fostering interactions between different ethnic groups.

Sub-venues, such as the Hotan Regional Museum, will offer citizens and visitors a variety of engaging activities, including exhibitions, hands-on experiences, and live ICH performances. These activities are designed not only to educate but also to entertain, making cultural heritage accessible to a broader audience.

In conjunction with the exhibition, the ICH Summer Shopping Month was launched, which aims to connect various regions through both offline sales and online live streaming. This initiative will unveil an array of summer-themed ICH products, travel routes, and experiential activities, showcasing local cultural attractions and promoting tourism-related consumption.

Having been held for five consecutive years, the "Xinjiang is a Good Place" ICH Aid event has seen participation from 1,450 ICH inheritors and has displayed 1,217 ICH projects to date. This ongoing initiative serves as a vehicle for cultural enrichment in Xinjiang while strengthening national identity among the diverse peoples of China. The exhibition is scheduled to run until August 19.
